History of Changes to Documents

The history of changes section on the Document Page shows changes that have been made to a document and changes that have been made by a document.

What appears in the History of Changes?

The history of changes records when a document is amended, replaced, repealed, etc… The specific changes that are recorded for each document may vary, depending on whether the document’s jurisdiction is consolidated or unconsolidated.

Consolidated Jurisdictions

For most of the documents in a consolidated jurisdiction, all amendments are integrated into one principal, up to date, document. For documents in consolidated jurisdictions, Nimonik won’t always record amendments from the publication date of the original documents.

In these jurisdictions, Nimonik will start recording amendments from the date the document is tracked in your compliance obligations. To see up-to-date obligations, please consult the original document.

Unconsolidated Jurisdictions

For most of the documents in an unconsolidated jurisdiction, all amendments are NOT integrated into one principal document. For documents in unconsolidated jurisdictions, to understand your obligations you must consult the original document and all the amending documents.

In these jurisdictions, Nimonik records regulatory changes that were published since the publication date of the original documents.The consolidation status of a document’s jurisdiction can be found next to the name of the jurisdiction on the document page.

How to Read the History of Changes Table

In the History of Changes section, you will find a table with the following information:

• Change – The type of change that was made
• Document –  The document that made the change or The document that was affected by the change
• Date – The date of the change
• Action – The External Action associated with the change. (If applicable)
