This guide will walk you through how to export the document usage report from Nimonikapp. This report covers the usage of Standards at the user level. Only Account Administrators will have access to export this report. Click here to identify and contact your Account Administrators.
Go to nimonikapp.com
1. Click "More"
In the top right corner, click More

2. Click "Settings"
Then, click Settings

3. Click "Export Data"
Once the page loads, on the right side of the page, click "Export Data". Please note, only Account Administrators can access this.

4. Click "Document usage report (CSV/Excel)"
Click Document Usage Report

5. Add the desired date range
Select the start and end dates. If left blank, the date range will automatically be the last 12 months. Usage data before April 29, 2025, is unavailable.

6. Click "Export"
Click Export to begin the process

7. Your report is being generated and will be sent to you via email.
Wait for the report to be generated and sent via email.

8. Locate the Email, the subject will be "Your Export is Ready!"
In a few moments, check your email. The subject will be called "Your Export is Ready!"

9. Click "Here" to download the CSV or Excel file
Click "Here" to download the CSV or Excel file. The file should begin to download right away. If it does not, try to right-click the "Here" link to begin the download.

10. View the Document Usage Report
Once the file has downloaded, open it up. The Document Usage Report shows separate rows each time a user clicks the "View PDF" or "Download PDF" button on Nimonikapp. It also identifies which document was viewed or downloaded, and the day it was viewed or downloaded.

More information about the data included in the Document Usage Report:
- User - email address of the user who viewed the document
- ID - The legislation ID of the document
- Facility - The name of the facility that the register the page was accessed from is in
- For views from the library it will show ‘library’
- Document - Title of the document
- Leg ref - Nimonik's "leg ref" number for the document
- Publisher - Name of the publishing authority (as it appears in Nimonikapp)
- View - Yes or no
- Yes, if they clicked the view PDF button on the legislation page or activity page
- No, if they did not
- Download - Yes or no
- Yes, if they clicked the download PDF button on either the legislation page, activity page, or the PDF view page
- No. if they did not
