What is RegChat?
RegChat is an AI assistant built by Nimonik that lets you ask questions directly against select documents in Nimonik's database. Instead of searching manually, you can type a question and get answers grounded in the actual source text.
Getting started
Click RegChat in the top navigation bar, then select the documents or jurisdiction you want to query. Type your question to begin.
For best results, narrow your source selection to specific documents rather than querying across an entire jurisdiction.
What documents are available?
RegChat covers documents that Nimonik has parsed at the clause level — typically the most essential regulatory texts for each jurisdiction. You will see documents from jurisdictions your company is subscribed to listed in the side panel.
Note that RegChat's library does not include every document in Nimonik's full collection. If your question relates to a document not yet in RegChat, RegChat will let you know. We are working on expanding RegChat’s library with more documents.
Content is updated weekly to reflect the latest regulatory changes.
Who has access?
RegChat is available to all users whose company has Nimonik AI features enabled. Access is scoped to your company's subscribed jurisdictions.
Privacy & security
Nimonik does not read your conversations or use them to train AI models. If you submit feedback through the chat interface, you consent to Nimonik reviewing that specific conversation for quality improvement purposes. RegChat is hosted on AWS following industry-standard security practices.
Technology
RegChat is powered by Claude, Anthropic's AI models, and retrieves answers from Nimonik's curated library.
Coming soon
RegChat will be more deeply integrated into NimonikApp, so you can complete compliance work without switching to external AI tools.
