Nimonik Release Notes: April 2026

Welcome to the April 2026 edition of Nimonik’s Release Notes!

Our team is constantly working behind the scenes to make your compliance and standards management smoother, faster, and more customizable.

Here is a breakdown of what’s new, what’s improved, and how these changes benefit Nimonik customers this month.

• Export internal document clauses – If an internal document has clauses, users can now export them from the internal document edit page
• AI Prompt Fields – In accounts with AI enabled, users can now enter prompts on the pages below. These will be used to inform AI applicability assessments and to create custized summaries for the newsletters

• Add a “Document Type” Filter to the Library Updates Report – Users can now filter the library updates report by one or multiple document types 
• Download Full Text on Legislation Info Page as PDF – Users can now download a PDF copy of the legislation text that appears on the document page.
• Allow users to create and view internal actions on the clause review page – Users can now create internal actions for their clauses from the clause review page. If their clause already has internal actions, a red badge will be displayed that shows the number. As is the case in the registers, clicking on this red badge will bring them to the internal actions page filtered for this specific clause.
• Modify the Document Column in the Register + Library lock icons – The lock icon on the register page has been changed and moved. Additionally, a new icon has been added that allows the user to visit the activity page.
• [BUG] – Unlocked Standards in Registers are showing Red Locked Icons (French version) – Due to a bug red icons were being displayed for some unlocked French documents. This issue has now been corrected.
• Remove register and template signup flows – Previously new accounts would show information about creating audit templates and registers on the facilities page. This has now been removed
• Add document type to exports of library updates report – Document type will now be included in all exports of the library updates report
• AI Description Fields – Users with AI enabled in their accounts will now see input fields on the register and account edit pages. These fields will be used to inform an upcoming feature that will allow AI to assess the applicability of documents and clauses
• Add Document Type to the Newsletter and the HTML/PDF Export – Exports of the library updates report will now include the document type of each document
• Updates to translations and terminology
• Performance improvements
• Upgrades, maintenance, and security tasks
• Various minor bug fixes and UI improvements
