Welcome to the May 2026 edition of Nimonik’s Release Notes!
Our team is constantly working behind the scenes to make your compliance and standards management smoother, faster, and more customizable.
Here is a breakdown of what’s new, what’s improved, and how these changes benefit Nimonik customers this month.
- Document expiry off by default for internal documents – The expiry option will now be off by default when creating new documents, and reflect the existing status when editing existing documents
- Improve newsletter settings – A number of logical and cosmetic improvements have been made to the newsletter settings including
- Make all filters use the same multi-select dropdown
- Newsletter is off by default for new users
- All filters must have at least one value selected to save
- Clear and Select all options have been added to each filter
- Add and edit internal document clauses – On the document page of internal documents, users will now see the option to ‘Edit Clauses’. Clicking on this option will bring them to a new page where they can
- Download a CSV template to add clauses to a document that does not have any
- Upload a CSV to add clauses to a document
- Download the existing clauses of their document
- Upload a CSV to modify the clauses of their document – Updated clauses will create actions in registers
- Remove green coloring from Principal/Amending status indicator – To reduce confusion with the in-force status, this will no longer appear as a colored rectangle
- Move clause assessment UI to the bottom of the review page – The clause assessment dropdown will now appear at the bottom of the page
- Add ‘Document Type’ filter to newsletter settings – Users can now choose which document types are included in their monthly newsletter
- Change green used on web application – A bright lime green was used in a variety of locations accross the application. In order to improve readability, this green was replaced with a darker shade
- Allow users to filter library updates email by publishing authority – Users can now choose the specific publishing authorities that they would like to include in their monthly emails
- [BUG] – Custom Library shown as an option when Custom Library is not active for the account – Due to a bug the custom library was appearing in certain locations regardless of whether or not it was in use. This has now been corrected
- [BUG] – PDF buttons missing despite being Unlocked – For specific documents the view PDF button was unavailable on the document page. This issue has now been corrected
