What are Topics?
Nimonik uses Topics to organize documents by specific areas of interest. In other words, topics are the what: what is this document about.
Topics allow you to filter and search for documents and clauses in both the Library and your Registers. On the document page, the relevant Topics are displayed on the right-hand side.
Because many documents span multiple subjects, a single document may appear under several Topics. For instance, the Canada Lands Surveyors Act is categorized using the topics "Land Use" (because the document is about dividing up and creating boundaries for land), and also "Professional Conduct, Quality Management" (because the document is also about how to train and register as a surveyor).
Within your Nimonik account, you can view the Topics included in your subscription. Topics that are not part of your subscription will appear greyed out.
